# Email Deliverability

If your emails keep landing in spam, the fix is often your DNS records. The **Email Deliverability** tool checks the records that prove your mail is genuine – SPF, DKIM, and DMARC – and helps you repair them. This guide shows how.

## Why deliverability records matter

Receiving mail servers check whether your messages are really from your domain. **SPF** lists who may send for you, **DKIM** adds a signature that proves the mail wasn’t altered, and **DMARC** tells servers what to do if a check fails. If any are missing or wrong, your mail is far more likely to be flagged as spam.

## Check and repair your records

1. In your hosting panel, open **Email Deliverability**.
2. Look at the status next to your domain. A problem shows a warning instead of a green tick.
3. Click **Manage** to see the details, then **Repair** (or **Install the Suggested Record**) to fix any missing SPF or DKIM entry.

When your domain uses JetHost DNS, the tool can add the records for you automatically. If your DNS is hosted elsewhere, it shows the exact values to copy into your DNS provider.

## A note on DMARC

DMARC is optional. Start with a monitoring policy so you can watch results without affecting delivery, then tighten it once you confirm your genuine mail passes. For adding these as DNS records by hand, see our guide on [email DNS records](https://jethost.com/kb/how-to-set-up-email-dns-records/).

## JetHost Experts Tip

Keep only one SPF record on your domain. If you send through several services (your hosting plus a newsletter tool, say), combine them into a single SPF record with multiple include: entries – two SPF records will fail.
