How to access an email account in cPanel

With every hosting account in JetHost you recieve email accounts and support. You can access your email account in cPanel in two convenient ways – either directly through Webmail or from inside cPanel. Both methods lead to the same mailbox, allowing you to check and manage your messages anytime.

Accessing your email through Webmail is ideal when you are on the go or using another device. Logging in through cPanel is useful when you are already managing your hosting or need to check settings related to your email accounts.

Method 1: Access Webmail from a browser

1. Enter https://your‑domain.com/webmail in your browser.
2. Log in with the full email address. For example, info@your‑domain.com and its password.
3. Choose Roundcube to start reading and sending messages.

Tip: Bookmark the URL so you can jump straight to Webmail next time.

Roundcube is the most popular and user-friendly webmail client available in cPanel. It provides an interface similar to desktop email apps – you can read, compose, delete, and organize messages directly from your browser.

Method 2: Launch Webmail from cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Go to Email → Email Accounts.
3. Next to the address you want, click Check Email. The Webmail interface opens in a new tab. Select Roundcube to view your inbox.

This method is useful if you have multiple email accounts and want to switch between them quickly or reset passwords.

You can also configure your email account in desktop or mobile apps (like Outlook, Apple Mail, or Thunderbird) using the IMAP or POP3 settings available in cPanel under Connect Devices.
If you ever forget your password, you can reset it in cPanel by going to Email → Email Accounts → Manage.
For best security, always log out of Webmail when using public or shared computers.
