How to register a free domain with JetHost?
At JetHost, we include a free domain registration as part of our hosting plans. This means you can get your unique domain name without extra cost for the first year. Below is the full process and what you need to know.
What does “Free Domain” mean?
A “free domain” means that when you buy a qualifying hosting plan (for example, a plan Start, Maverick or Business with a minimum duration of 12 months), we waive the registration fee for one domain for the first year. You still retain full control over the domain – DNS settings, domain management, renewal decisions, and so on. After the first year, you’ll pay the regular renewal fee if you wish to keep it.
Eligibility for the free domain offer
The free domain registration applies only to hosting plans purchased with a 12-month or longer billing cycle. It is available for the following domain extensions:
.com, .net, .org, .in, and .us
The free domain offer is included with the Start, Maverick, and Business hosting plans.
If you choose one of these plans and select a supported TLD, the system will automatically apply the discount at checkout.
Steps to claim your free domain
Here’s how to register your domain for free when purchasing an eligible hosting plan:
1. Choose your hosting plan – Pick a hosting plan that includes the free domain benefit. This is one of these plans – Start, Maverick or Business.
2. Select a 12-month or longer billing cycle.
3. When prompted, enter your desired domain name and select one of the qualifying extensions (.com, .net, .org, .in, or .us).
4. Check the domain’s availability. If it’s free, you’ll see the price set to $0 for the first year.
5. Complete your checkout to register the domain and activate hosting.
Once your order is processed, the domain will appear in your Client Area, where you can manage DNS, contact details, and renewal preferences.
