Every JetHost VPS comes with a full self-service control panel built right into the Client Area - no tickets, no waiting. This guide gives you a tour of every management option so you know exactly what each tab does.

## Where to find the VPS controls

Log in to the JetHost Client Area and open **Services -> My Products & Services**, then click your VPS to open its **Product Details** page. You'll see the status, plan and recurring amount, with the management tabs along the top.

The **Details** tab shows your server at a glance: status, operating system, datacenter location, storage, CPU cores, memory and main IP address. It's the first place to look to confirm your VPS specs.

The **Power** tab lets you **Start**, **Stop** or **Reboot** your VPS on demand, and shows the current power status.

## Networking

Under **Networking** you can view the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses assigned to your VPS, set reverse DNS (PTR) records, and manage null-routing.

## Reinstall

The **Reinstall** tab lets you install a fresh operating system in a couple of clicks. Reinstalling erases all data on the VPS, so it always shows a clear warning first.

## Snapshots

**Snapshots** save the current state of your VPS disk so you can roll back later. You can create an on-demand snapshot at any time - free of charge.

## Console

The **Console** tab opens a browser-based VNC session straight to your machine, which is invaluable if SSH ever becomes unreachable.

## Credentials

**Credentials** stores your VPS login details. You can reveal them with **Show Logins** or perform a root password reset (the VPS must be stopped first).

## Firewall

The **Firewall** tab manages cloud firewall rules by protocol, source CIDR and port range - no command line needed.

## Metrics

**Metrics** shows your data traffic usage over the last 30 days, split by download and upload, with totals and peaks.

## Recovery

**Recovery** lets you attach a rescue or utility ISO to boot from when troubleshooting. There's also an **Other** tab for additional actions.

## JetHost Experts Tip

Bookmark the Product Details page. Every day-to-day task - rebooting, opening the console, resetting a password, adding a firewall rule - lives here, so you rarely need to open a support ticket.
