Email Address Importer

Setting up a lot of mailboxes one by one is slow. The email Address Importer lets you create many email accounts – or many forwarders – at once from a single file. This guide shows how to use it.

Prepare your file

The importer reads a CSV or spreadsheet (XLS) file. Each row is one account or forwarder. For accounts, include the email address and a password; for forwarders, include the source address and the destination. A simple accounts file looks like this:

info@yourdomain.com,An0therPass!2

Import the file

1. In your hosting panel, open Address Importer.
2. Choose whether you are importing Email Accounts or Forwarders.
3. Upload your file and select the domain.
4. Match the columns to the right fields when prompted, then confirm the import.

When it finishes, the tool reports how many were created and flags any rows it could not process, so you can fix and re-import just those.

Common mistakes to avoid

A few small errors cause most failed imports. Make sure the first row is a header line, and that every email address includes the full domain. Passwords must meet the strength requirements, or those rows are skipped. Save the file as plain CSV if a spreadsheet import misreads your columns. Finally, importing an address that already exists will not overwrite it, so remove any accounts you have already created before you upload. If the import stalls, open the file in a plain text editor and check for stray commas, blank lines, or an extra column, since one malformed row can throw off everything after it.
